During our last week of summer break, I decided to take on one last summer project, a tortoise habitat. We were given 2 baby tortoises (born on Cooper's birthday) and wanted to give them a nice place to live.
Our first stop, Lowes... we got our lumber, chicken wire, food dishes & paint.
Once home, we assembled the frame & stapled the chicken wire to keep the cats & birds away!
We placed it in the backyard and the turtles finally have a comfortable & nice place to live!
Cooper & Caedyn each got to name their own tortoise -
Cae chose Squirt....
& Cooper decided on Flash.
Now we're excited to watch them grow!
