Regatta Go!

After skipping last year, we decided to do the river regatta again this year in Laughlin/Bullhead - this year's theme was "Pirates of the Colorado" so we brought our pirate ship and parrot along!

We drove to Laughlin early Saturday morning, hopped on the buses and were shuttled down to the launch area. After getting all of our tubes inflated, it was finally time to relax and float the river. We were joined by almost all of my very best friends (we missed ya Gabs!) so we were sure to have a great time!

The 117 degree heat couldn't put a damper on our good time, the water was cold and our beers were colder - I think we laughed the whole time, I couldn't have asked for a better group to share our day with!

After floating for 4 hours, we were ready to get out of the sun & cleaned up! After showering, we all joined up for dinner at our hotel, before hotel hopping that evening. We ended up at "Gold Diggers" at the Golden Nugget and danced until we couldn't dance anymore.

To say we had a successful weekend would be an understatement - in words of Angela... REGATTA GO!
