Summer break is over, which means Cooper is officially a (not so) big 1st grader! On his first day, he woke up extra early, got dressed, packed his lunch, and had his backpack on before I even rolled out of bed - to say he was excited would be an understatement.
Of course, we had to take our annual "1st Day of School' picture... Coop is always such a great sport with all of my picture taking!
On the first day, we walked directly to his classroom - he put his things away and didn't even want to give me a kiss goodbye! I don't think I like all of this growing up business!
Since this was Cooper's first experience with full day school, I was anxious to see how he felt once the day was over - his first words "I am done", but overall he really enjoyed his day, of course lunch was his favorite subject ;)
Caedyn couldn't wait to pick him up - this was possibly the longest they have ever been away from each other!
I'm still struggling with the idea that my babies are growing up, but it's so fun to watch them learn and master new skills - although, I am so excited to see how much he learns (and hopefully grows) this school year!
Heres to another great school year - 1st grade, I hope you're ready for us!
