The past couple weeks have been unbelievably hot, so we've spent as much time as possible in the water. The kids love the pool at Green Valley Ranch, so we met Ang, Dina & her babies for a pool day.
The beach entrance is awesome, but I think we left covered in more sand than water!
We've visited a few different splash pads - the kids decided they like Reunion Trails the best!
My favorite part about summer, POPSICLES! We finally found some good molds to make our own, so we've been experimenting with different fruits - so far our favorite is Watermelon Lime!
Of course, we couldn't skip Black Mountain Pool - we were joined by a few friends & swam the whole day through.
Our church hosted a swim day at Cowabunga Bay, so the kids & I were joined by my mom and we spent our day pool & slide hopping!
Most of our time was spent between the Lazy River & Surf-A-Rama Wave Pool - the kids love riding in tubes while the waves crash around them.
Cooper is finally tall enough to ride almost all of the slides, so we tried out a few - he decided his favorite is "Breaker 1-9". Caedyn, on the other hand, is still too short to ride just about everything except for "Beach Blanket Banzai", so we made sure she got her fill.
By the end of the week, we were water logged & ready to dry off.
We spent our weekend BBQing with friends and prepping for our upcoming trip. Jenell even squeezed me in to make my hair beautiful before we fly out... Hooray for vacation hair!
