Since school has ended for the year, we have been busy little bees.
Cooper graduated from the Kinder program at church - now he's off to the big kids room!
We've spent several days playing at the Black Mountain Pool. It's always an easy way to get out of the house and let the kids burn energy.
Cooper is FINALLY tall enough to go down the big slide and now I can't keep him off!
During summer, we try to keep as busy as possible so we don't go stir crazy - even if it only involves a stroll around the grocery store ;)
"Baby" Ellis has come by for a few visits and the kids can't get enough - good thing she's okay with them always being in her face.
Josh & I got a parents weekend out (thanks Grammy & Pops!) with some friends in Laughlin - we had SUCH a great time, we laughed until our cheeks hurt and eyes watered.
With Cooper being out of school, the kids spend all their time together - like all siblings, they have their moments, but times like these make it all worth it!
Sometimes I swear I have 3 kids, Josh enjoys picking on them way too much!
We spent a Saturday celebrating Gage's 3rd birthday - the only time the kids got out of the pool was to eat, only to get right back in!
We've hit the movie theaters several times so far - Finding Dory, Ninja Turtles, and most recently The Secret Life of Pets! Next on our list, THE BFG!
For Father's Day, Josh wanted to go shooting, so to the range we went. We all got a chance to go thru several rounds before it got too hot to bare. We spent the evening relaxing & BBQing with friends. It was such a great day celebrating Josh & all that he does for us.
Cooper also completed his summer church camp "Walk This Way" - he learned so much about the bible and had tons of fun! He even lucked out & his buddy, Mason, was in his group!
With summer in full swing and temperatures rising, we spend as much time in the water as possible, which means Cowabunga Bay! On our latest trip, we were joined by lots of friends! We spent the day between the wave pool, lazy river, and the Beach Blanket Banzai, which is Caedyn's very favorite!
This week was Springs Preserve Strikes Back, a Star Wars inspired event at the Springs Preserve, so we took full advantage. Their current exhibit, Playing With Light, fit right in with the Star Wars theme - we snuck thru the laser lights, painted with infrared light, and froze our own shadows (SO COOL).
After lunch at the cafe, the kids even got to make their very own Light Sabers!
With June coming to a close, we're looking forward to what July has in store - bring on the heat!
