This year, Christmas was a busy season for our family! My family flew in from IL to spend the holiday with us - we had quite the houseful, but wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
All of us girls got together for a pedicure one evening - it was a first for Katie, Anna, & Caedyn, and they LOVED it!
Since it had been 5 years since their last visit, we brought the girls out to Lake Mead to feed the fish before giving them a tour of the Hoover Dam & new bridge.
We spent Christmas Eve at Central for the holiday festivities - after the service, the kids got to ride the train, hangout in the petting zoo, & eat some s'mores. Josh's favorite part was the deep fried twinkies!
After Santa's arrival, we spent Christmas morning exchanging our gifts before everyone arrived. Santa definitely spoiled all of us this year!
Once the whole gang filled our house, we started our dinner preparations...
Once everything was cooking, we opened our next round of gifts - afterwards, I felt like a gift shop exploded in my front room!
Leave it to Brett to start a snowball fight inside - the kids set up a table to protect them & went to town! I don't think I've ever heard as much laughter while being pelted with toys.
Once dinner was served, a calm came over the house - everything from the turkey & prime rib to the potatoes & stuffing was delicious! Not only were we blessed with full tummys & gifts, but also lots of love & laughter - We wouldn't have wanted to spend our holiday any other way!
Since everyone was in town, we got together for family pictures - of course we chose the coldest day of the year, but still managed to get some beautiful photos.
Sunday was a sad day, unfortunately it was time for everyone to head back home - we're already planning our next family get together, once a year isn't nearly enough!
Gram & Papa stayed for another week, so we took Cooper out to the ponds in Boulder City to let him test out his new boat. He was cracking me up chasing the ducks saying "buh-bye ducks, see ya never!"
