It's Kindergarten!

We've now had a 5 year old for over a week, say what? 

It's seems like Cooper grew up over night, I continually ask myself "where did the time go?", then I'm faced with a day like today, just like any other day except ONE BIG THING - wake up, eat breakfast, get dressed, and bring Cooper to KINDERGARTEN. I'm still crazy surprised every morning as we load into the car to bring him to school, my little baby boy isn't a baby anymore! 

On his first day, we were able to walk him into his classroom, so we took full advantage. He did all but push us out of his room once he found his seat, needless to say, he wasn't nervous one bit. His first day was very emotional for me - I cried the WHOLE day, but thankfully had Josh to help me through it.

He had a very successful first day and really enjoys going - he continually says "Mrs. Montemayor is the BEST teacher at my school!".

Every day when he gets home, we do his homework together while Caedyn naps - either reading or working on flash cards. HE LOVES TO LEARN... I know he got that from me ;) I couldn't be more proud of the boy he is growing into!
