I just can't believe it - two came way too quickly. It seems like yesterday I was scheduling her birth and heading to the hospital to have her!
We went in for her two year well check and our little peanut isn't such a peanut anymore:
Height: 33.5 inches - 45 percentile
Weight: 26 lbs. 12. oz. - 50 percentile
She's learned so much in the past few months, it's absolutely mind boggling! Not only is she able to count to 12 and sing her ABCs, but she also knows her colors & most shapes, all of her body parts, and is speaking in 4-5 word sentences - she knows WAY too many words for me to even keep track of anymore.
Everything that comes out of her mouth ends with "me do it" - she's insanely independent and insists on doing everything on her own, with no help from anyone else. She rarely wants to be held anymore, always telling us "no me walk" the second we get her out of her carseat.
We're currently potty training & she's LOVING it - I'm praying it stays this easy because she has been an absolute breeze. She loves wearing her "pannies" and "pull pups" and makes it very clear when it's time to go - "MOM! Pee on pah-ee".
Her hair is finally starting to come in, although she's still suffering with the mullet ;)
She's super silly, loves to sing & dance, and play with her babies. She watches EVERYTHING Cooper does and tries to mimic it, although her coordination has yet to catch up with her mind.
Her very favorite TV show is Strawberry Shortcake "straw-ey take", with Mickey & Barney coming in a close second, but she'll take playing outside over watching TV any day.
If she could chose one color, it would definitely be pink - she loves to pick out her own clothes, and it never fails that she picks out an all pink outfit. She has an obsession with boots, any kind of boots, and insists on wearing them EVERYWHERE - her current favorite are her rubber boots, ughhhhh.
She loves books - sometimes she'll sit down by herself and pretend to read to herself, but she especially loves it when someone else reads to her.
Her favorite time of day is anytime that she's eating - cheese is still her number one, followed by fruit snacks "snackey", grapes "brapes", and ice cream "ice tream".
She now refers to herself as "Pincess" thanks to Josh constantly telling her so, at least he also taught her that I am the Queen :)
Even though we celebrated her birthday a few days before the 26th, I always do something with the family on the day of - we picked up a few pies and after eating tons of pizza, she got the spotlight again.
So here's to another year in books, and many more to go. Mommy and Daddy love you more than words, P!
