First Month of '14 :)

Since the 1st of the year rolled around, we've been very busy! I've been lucky enough to have a few nights out with the girls - Christina's birthday, Angela's birthday, & a girl night!

My grandparents came to town for a few weeks, it was so nice to see them! They stayed with us for the majority & helped me a bunch with the kids & stuff around the house. I'm so thankful our kids LOVE their Great Gramma & Papa.

One afternoon we met my Great aunts, my Papa's sisters, who were also visiting Vegas, at the Bellagio for lunch. It's always so much fun when we all get together, they're a wild bunch!

For the past few months our house has been a construction zone, that's for another post entirely, but my Papa hung shelves for me in my newly built pantry, with help from Cooper of course. Among all the construction, we made several trips to Lowe's for everything we needed.

While they were in town we went to lunch, then took the kids to the Children's Museum at The Smith's Center - it was SO cool & both kids enjoyed themselves, needless to say, we'll definitely go back.

They had a hand painting station, so Cooper got to paint his handprints!

They also had an arts & crafts room where both kids painted several of their own watercolor masterpieces; They then had a choice to make it into a puzzle, which of course Cooper did since he LOVES puzzles.

The last room we wandered into was the "water room." They provide raincoats for the littles & let them run wild.

For most of the time that my grandparents were in town, Josh was working in LA, but we got lucky and he got to join us for Sunday breakfast with everyone before they left!

We spent Super Bowl Sunday at the Hohn's watching the Bronco's get their booties kicked by the Seahawks, thankfully it's just a game, so we had fun no matter what!

The weather was so nice, we planned several outdoor play dates. Our kids LOVE to run wild at the park.

And when the weather wasn't so nice, they played indoors.

We made several stops at Bass Pro, Cooper & Josh always manage to walk out with something in hand.

Christina & I try to get our girls together as much as possible, and what better to do than go SHOPPING! These two are such good shoppers already!

One of my very good friends, Angelique, is planning her wedding and she asked me to be her bridesmaid! I'm so excited to stand by her when she says her "I do's" in Hawaii!

We finally got Caedyn's first birthday present that we ordered for her in the mail, her first .22 rifle, so we had to bring it out shooting! We decided to make a day of it, bring a few of our other guns out & have a picnic. We're sure to teach our kids good safety etiquette when it comes to using guns, and to ALWAYS wear ear protection!

I wish I could say February slowed down, but not much… there's always more to come :)
