Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day Weekend we packed up the truck and headed to Southern Utah with the Furley's and Busch's. We found a little pond outside of Veyo, UT and set up camp. Saturday morning the dogs sniffed each other out while the kids played in the dirt.

Checking everything out.

Buster - our water dog.

Saturday afternoon was quite eventful - A guy from the campsite next to us fell and broke his ankle 2 miles into a mountain hiking trail, he had to get flight for life to pick him up out of there. My father-in-law, Dave, happened to be at our campsite before the paramedics arrived, and since he's a fireman he was able to set the ankle and brace it.

Flight For Life landing next to our campsite.

Kickin' up dust.

Once he got taken away, life went back to relaxation. The kids entertained themselves in the dirt while the rest of us enjoyed the (little) break in the heat.

Snickers relaxing in the shade.

My dirty little man.

"What? I'm shovelin'"

Josh and I took the quad out for a little ride while Cooper napped. The Utah desert is so much prettier than the scrub we have here in Vegas.

Beautiful view.

The next morning was so peaceful. The kids napped for a while which gave us adults some peace and quiet.

Wyatt crashed in the car seat.

Once Cooper woke up Josh and I brought him for a ride on the quad. He's so adventurous and had a blast!

View from the top of the hill.

My favorite boys.

To cool off from the afternoon heat, we headed to Kyle's Moms house to splash around in the pool.

Monday morning we packed up camp and headed home. While the adults were busy, Wyatt was busy pretending to ride around on the four wheeler.

Now it's time for me to pack up once again, Yippee!
