Last week Cooper and I spent a lot of time outdoors, so much that little man has a farmers tan. One day we met up with some friends and spent the afternoon at Veterans Memorial splash pad. It's awesome how he runs around with the other kids now, rather than have me carrying him through the water.
The kids playing.
Last Wednesday Josh had enough of Cooper's baby hair and gave him his first cut. I was so sad to see it go, off his head for that matter seeing as I still have it in a Ziploc, but now he looks so much more like a little boy than a baby. As you can see below Cooper wasn't a fan of getting buzzed, either.
"Up now Mom!"
Waaaaah!
Friday morning we packed up the truck once again and made our way to St. George for our weekend of camping with the Craig's. Once Dave got home from work we headed off to Kolob Reservoir - It's right outside Zion, about an hours drive from St. George. The weather was amazing, highs in the 60's, lows in the 40's, and rain!

We spent our time relaxing, sitting around the campfire while the boys fished. It was such a nice break from the heat!

Just taking a rest.
After eating Josh and I went out for a quiet boat ride - It was so peaceful, until the rain started coming down. Thankfully we had time to rush back before we got dumped on.
The beautiful lake.
Once the sprinkling subsided, Dave and Josh went out on the float tubes for some MORE fishing. Theresa, Sam, Cooper, and I took the drive back to St. George to see Sarah on her Senior Homecoming.

We stayed the night in town and met up with the guys Sunday morning. We picked up some marshmallows on our drive back to camp to roast over the fire.

"What, why can't I touch the fire?"
This rolled in during our roasting event.
Waiting in the tent for the rainstorm to pass.
There's no doubt we'll be going back to Kolob, especially when the heat hits its peak here in the Valley.
