#Swifties4Life

Last weekend I got the amazing opportunity to take a girls trip to San Diego - we'd been waiting on this weekend since we bought our Taylor Swift 1989 World Tour tickets at the beginning of the year.

We left early Saturday morning to beat the California traffic - after getting checked into our room in the Gaslamp District, we shopped & barhopped all afternoon until it was time to get ready for the show.

The concert was at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, about a mile from our hotel. After dressing up and walking to the park, we grabbed some tall boys and our seats to watch the show.

We got to see two awesome opening acts, Shawn Mendes & Vance Joy - I was so impressed with Shawn Mendes, a 17 year old boy who got on stage alone with only an acoustic guitar and his voice.

Once Taylor came on stage, the whole SOLD OUT stadium erupted. Each audience member was given a wristband that lit up with the music -with each song the lights changed color and rhythm, the crowd looked beautiful!

I can't stress enough how incredibly impressed I was with her performance - from her uplifting and positive messages, her strong singing voice (which has drastically strengthened over the years), to how well she kept the crowd captivated, she's definitely an entertainer!

After the concert was over, we stopped by Neighborhood Bar for a drink - in the back hallway is a hidden "speakeasy" bar called Noble Experiment which is where we spent our night. The bar specializes in top shelf liquor with expert mixologists serving up drinks specially tailored to each individual customer - it was FANTASTIC with a very unique atmosphere. After we had our fill of drinks, we called it a night and headed back to our room.

We spent Sunday at Pacific Beach - we had breakfast at World Famous before spending the afternoon on the beach playing in the waves. The water was chilly, but cooled us off from the sun and humidity. The weather was perfect all weekend long, we really lucked out!

After rinsing the ocean off of us, we jumped back in the car to make the drive back to Vegas. Thankfully the traffic was heading the opposite way, so it was smooth sailing all the way back home.

It was so nice to get back to my hubs & babies after the much needed weekend - I can't complain when this is the view I get to come home to...

I can't thank Josh enough for always giving me the opportunities to have alone time to relieve the stresses of every day life. I really am one lucky lady!
