To kick off February, we loaded up our trailer and headed out to the nearby dry lake beds early on Sunday morning. We weren't sure what we would find once we arrived, due to the several inches of rain we'd gotten on the several days previous - we were pleasantly surprised to find most of the desert dried up, with several big mug puddles, just enough to make it messy! The weather couldn't have been more perfect, mid 60's and sunny!
Once all suited up, Cooper jumped on his quad and away he went, with Snickers in tow of course.
After exploring the area, we were ready for some mud - while Caedyn LOVED riding through the mud with me or Daddy, Cooper preferred driving himself.
While taking a break, we snapped a few pictures... even our furry baby, Snickers, got in on the action!
After refueling, it was right back to the mud and mess...
And if driving through the mud wasn't enough, Cooper insisted on playing in it too... and if Cooper does it, so does Caedyn.
We ended our morning with mud covered kids, quads, and boots - definitely a successful family day.
