A Savior Is Born

Christmas eve was finally upon us...

We spent the evening with Laura, Erin, Jerry & Dee Dee, eating and exchanging present, the kids sure love our adopted family. On our way home, we stopped by the Hohn's to do our gift exchange with them, too - I swear there aren't enough hours in a day!

That night, the kids each opened a gift from under our tree, spread out reindeer food, and left cookies & milk for Santa.

Before heading to bed, Josh read them "The Christmas Story." It's so important to teach our kids about the true meaning of Christmas - the magic of Christmas is not in the presents, but in His presence.

The kids were easier than ever to tuck in that night, knowing the sooner they went to bed, the sooner Santa would come. Caedyn was the first awake Christmas morning, and ready to rip into the stockings & gifts - Cooper awoke shortly after, and the madness began!

Christmas afternoon, family slowly started to trickle in... which meant more gifts for the kids to open!

Christmas tradition continued, we deep fried a prime rib with all the yummy fix-ins and spent the day surrounded by family and friends. I am especially thankful for having Josh home, holidays are always  so hard to plan with his crazy work schedule!

Since my Mom was out of town on Christmas day, we celebrated with her once she got back... Round 3!

We were truly blessed this year - thank you to all of you have made this year an unforgettable one!

And I leave you with my favorite Christmas bible verse...
Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all of our loved ones! Here's to a new year as amazing as the last!
