Snow Day

Before the holidays, we had A TON of rain, which meant snow on the mountains. Before it warmed back up I wanted to bring the kids to Mt. Charleston to play. I picked up Dina & Theo and the joined us on our journey. Once we got there, we bundled the kids up and let Cooper & Snickers run free, it was a Monday, so there weren't many people around.

This was Caedyn's first time to be able to play in the snow - we brought her to see snow last winter, but she was too young to understand. This year the snow went straight to the mouth, and yes, I made sure it wasn't yellow ;)

The snow was so deep that with each step we took, we sunk 2 feet. Cooper found this HILARIOUS and eventually face-planted, he didn't find that as funny.

Once the sun started to set, it got pretty chilly so we packed back in the truck and headed back down the mountain and into sunny Las Vegas. It's so nice to have that mountain escape less than an hours drive away!
