For Thanksgiving this year, we broke tradition and gave Josh's dad, Dave, a go at the bird. We drove up to St. George Wednesday to help prep for dinner and spend some quality family time. Thursday morning, my parents and Aunt Sandy, who was in Vegas visiting for the holiday, drove up also.
Dinner time rolled around, and passed, before we finally sat down for dinner - honestly whose Thanksgiving dinner is ever on time??? This was Caedyn's first Thanksgiving, so we let her go crazy, and she sure did - our girl can eat!
We spent the rest of the day visiting and laughing, as always at the Craig house, while Dave told us his ridiculous stories.
I'm so thankful for the family that lives so close - the only thing missing was Josh.
