Month of May.

The beginning of May brought the start of the very warm weather in the valley here. We take several trips to the park each week, but be sure to leave before the 100 degree heat hits. Caedyn is experiencing a lot of her "firsts" lately, and it's so much fun! Below is her first time on the swings & in her jumper - she loved them both.

She's begun eating solids regularly, apples, squash, & blueberry yogurt are her absolute favorite.

Nothing has changed when it comes to Cooper & water, he's still such a water kid.

The kids and I joined some friends for some bubble fun at the Las Vegas Bubble Run 5k. It was fairly early in the morning, and not too hot, so we all had a good time. The kids got the filthiest!

I'm so proud of Cooper, he no longer wears diapers! He's gotten so good at going on the potty, he only wears pull ups at night.

For Angelique's birthday, Jerome threw her a surprise dinner at Lindo Michoachan. The food was super yummy and the company even better. Now that Christina had Kensey, we're waiting for little Miss Lilyan Faith to arrive.

While at my moms, we make sure to take advantage of the pool as often as possible. Cooper loves when he gets to wrestle with Josh in the water. Caedyn is still getting used to the pool water, but loves to put her feet in.

When the weather is nice outside, we set up Cooper's ice cream maker and let him have at it. Of course, after only a few minutes, we have to take over to finish up the churning of the ice cream.

BATH TIME, both kids' favorite time of day. It never fails, no matter how bad of a mood, bath time makes everyones day 10 times better!

A few weeks back, Gabby finally had some free time from work so we had a girls day at the salon getting pedicures!

On May 11th, we celebrated Aubrey's 4th birthday party, how time flies! I still remember visiting her in the hospital after she was born. She's grown into such a beautiful little girl.

Erin takes several trips a month to Vegas since school is out for the summer, so we make sure to visit with her while she's in town. The kids love their Auntie Ewin!

Josh got the bright idea to bring the kids fishing at night out at the Boulder City ponds. We met up with Mike, Ciara, and Danika and enjoyed the evening while the kids ran laps around us. I love these two together.

This year was my first Mother's Day with Caedyn, and I enjoyed it even more with our newest addition. I got a beautiful bouquet of Lily's from my Dad and a Kindle Fire HD from Josh & the kids, it's awesome!

When we have free time, we get Coop and Danika together as much as possible. They play well together, when they're not fighting like siblings ;)

Every day I see Cooper and Caedyn together, I can't imagine one without the other. Although Cooper can be rough, he is an amazing big brother and loves his "sissy." Even at this very young age, he is super protective of her, its heart warming - She adores him as well, he walks into the room and her whole face lights up.

Caedyn finally mastered the art of unsupported sitting. She loves the freedom of being able to play on her own, and so do I. She's become more independent and most toys keep her very entertained.

Coming up... our wonderful trip to Illinois :)
