On Wednesday afternoon, after Josh got home from work, we packed up the car and made our way to Pleasant Grove, UT to spend the night at Jesse & Stephanie's home. Since we arrived so late, we hit the sack as soon as we got there. The next morning we awoke to two precious 4 year old girls waiting patiently to play with their little cousin, and when I say little I mean it. Jacob is now a mere 6 months and is as big as Cooper at 14 months old - Crazy I know!
Jacob, Josh, & Cooper
Abby being a vampire.
Cool dude Jacob.
After everyone finished getting ready, we grabbed a bite to eat at Jim's Family Restaurant - The Craigs & Erin joined us for breakfast, then we packed Cooper back into his car seat and made the rest of our drive up to Idaho.
Savannah, Uncle Josh, & Abby
When we finally arrived at Billy & Robins 6 hours later, Cooper was ready to run. We introduced him to Grandpa & Grandma J's chickens and rooster - He was enthralled.
Cooper standing at the chicken wire.
CHICKEN!
Saying "Oooh, ooooh!"
Petting the rooster, Hercules.
Once we were all pecked out, we relaxed back inside to warm ourselves up and wind down for the night. Cooper found entertainment in a vacuum box - Josh zoomed him all over the house while he giggled for what seemed like hours.
Cooper on the Hoover box.
What a happy boy!
During bath time that night, Robin captured some beautiful moments.
Big blue eyed boy.
Mr. Beautiful Eyelashes!
Friday morning we met John and Shirley, Josh's grandparents, at Cracker Barrell for breakfast. After stuffing ourselves Cooper eyed this little beauty in the lobby...
Riding a Harley.
Our next stop was Cabela's - Since we don't have one close by to Vegas, it's a tradition to shop around during our Idaho visit.
Cooper taking a Ranger ride.
Our first stop in Cabela's was the aquarium. John walked Cooper through the fish tanks explaining all the different varieties while Cooper patiently pointed and listened.

Watching the fish.
"Hey look at this!"
Before leaving, we introduced Coop to all of the stuffed wildlife scattered about the store. He loved the bears and kept trying to scare them by growling and throwing out his hands.
Josh & Cooper with the bear.
Playing in the dirt - He's such a BOY!
John & Cooper with the moose.
After running around all day, we retired back to the house to rest for the evening.
Josh & I relaxing on the couch.
Cooper & Great Grandma Shirley
Being mischievous, what he does best.
Getting into Grandma J's bowls.
Of course Cooper didn't think the bowls were enough entertainment and decided to rummage through the rest of the cabinets until he found what he was looking for. Before we knew it, he had all of the Tupperware all over the floor, himself, and the furniture.
Look at that face!
Tupperware baby.
A new style of hat.
Robin pulled out a box of items from her childhood and Cooper immediately gravitated towards a mini pair of cowboy boots, they belonged to Robins brother before he passed away. Although they didn't fit, Cooper insisted on wearing them - He bobbed and wobbled as he walked, but he refused to take them off, it was hilarious!
My little cowboy.
He then got ahold of Grandma's guitar - needless to say the house hadn't been baby proofed.
Strumming the guitar.
After bathtime he had to put the boots back on.
Working the boots.
Cooper thought playing with the night light was amusing, even after being told 10 times not to touch it - He sure is a stubborn little thing. Once Dad got after him for touching the night light again, he wasn't so happy anymore. How children know to cover their faces when they cry, I'll never know.
Boo hoo :(
Once over his fit, Josh decided to introduce Cooper to the piano.
Playing some notes...
And proud of himself.
While I was getting ready on Saturday morning, the rest of the family was out front snapping pictures and enjoying the cold, fresh air.

Knocking for Mom to come out.
Plowing up the sugar beets.
Once Cooper woke from his nap, he was ready to shovel in the food.
Pushing it in.
Cheesing it up.
Pound it!
Hanging with Papa during brunch.
After stuffing ourselves, we stopped at D&B Supply, their local western store, and shopped around a bit.
Cooper trying on new hats.
Helping Mom push around the cart.
We stopped by John & Shirley's to see the beautiful new renovations they had done to their house, while Cooper played on Papa's boat in the garage.
Brrmmmm brmmm.
Josh tossin' Cooper - Makes my heart stop every time!
We loaded up the car once again and took the scenic drive out to Payette, ID to enjoy our surroundings. During the drive we found this little fella in the middle of the road... I just couldn't believe it so I HAD to take a picture and share.
An Elks head.
Once we reached our desination, we had to let Cooper out to run and burn some energy for the ride back to Billy & Robin's. We stopped at an elementary school that had an awesome old school playground and a big field of grass.
Me & Cooper running to the playground.
Hiding between Mom's legs from Dad.
I love my little munch!
I brought Cooper to the top of the slide while Josh waited at the bottom to catch him.
Me & my happy boy
Pure happiness.
Climbing back up the slide to Mom.
Josh brought him for a ride on the swings since they didn't have a baby swing for him to ride on his own - He enjoyed it just as much!
Swinging with Dad.
I brought Cooper for some bounces on the bridge, Josh jumped on too - the harder he bounced us, the more Cooper laughed.
Laughing on the bridge.
We jumped over to the big kids playground - Josh brought Cooper down the curly q slide before letting him take it on alone.
My big boy!
Daddy & Cooper on the curly Q!
Coop going it alone.

Once we were all playground out, we let Cooper burn the rest of his energy running around the grass.
Cooper & Grandpa J
Me & Munchy
My boy lovin' on me.
Trying to be sneaky.
Scaring Dad... Rawwwr!
Cooper & Grandma J
Cooper's infamous face - Way to teach him Dad!
After the exhausting time at the park, we drove back to Billy & Robin's and relaxed for the rest of the evening. We woke up early Sunday morning, packed up the car while the snow was falling and hit the road. I couldn't have asked Cooper to be better behaved, he did amazing the whole 11 hour drive! Over half the drive snow was falling all around us - it was beautiful.
Sleepy boy.
Snow!
We had a awesome trip spent with wonderful people and can't wait to do it over again!
