Easter Weekend

Cooper is now 8 months, crazy isn't it? He's got his new "things" this week - "Momama" is his new sound and although it sounds like he's saying Momma, I won't kid myself - he's smart, but he ain't THAT smart ;) His new favorite toy is the water bucket in the backyard - whenever he gets the chance he pulls himself up on it and splashes the water.

 Laughing boys.

He's slowly learning how to feed himself - I cut up food into little pieces and lay it out on his high chair. Occasionally he just gets frustrated because he can't eat it fast enough, but it keeps him busy most of the time. He's eating so many different things now - he loves chicken and beef! He doesn't care for the "baby food" anymore, he only wants things he can chew (with the teeth he has yet to get).

Shoveling it in...

 And chewing it up!

On Saturday we brought Cooper to see the Easter Bunny at Bass Pro Shops - the line was super long but he was well behaved watching all the other kids running around.

 Waiting in line.

Cooper stayed the night at his Grammy & Grampy's house Saturday night so Josh and I could go to a friends birthday party - we had a great time! Thanks Kyle & Lindsay :)

Sunday morning we headed out to the Boulder City corrals for roping practice. We spent the morning enjoying the beautiful weather with some great friends.

After roping was over we met my parents and Cooper back at our house and began preparing Easter dinner. My brother, Michael, and some family friends, Bev & Jeep, joined us for the afternoon. We had a wonderful time and some delicious food!

Oh how we love our fried food - this Easter once again we had a deep-fried Prime Rib... Mmm Mmm good!

 Nothing better than fried food!

Bev and Jeep brought us over some beautiful Easter Lillies - by far my favorite flowers ever!

Before the day was over I had to get an updated family photo - and yes, my dogs are a major part of my family!

My Beautiful Little Family :)

We are so very blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Happy Easter to all :)
