Superbowl Weekend

I'm always so thankful when Friday rolls around and I get a little break and some help with Cooper. He's finally coming into his own and learning to entertain himself. Not only is it stimulating for him, it also gives me a break and time to get things done around the house. We'll lay or sit him out on his blanket and let him play with his toys. He's learning new things every day - it's so exciting to watch him master his new skills, he'll be crawling any day now!

 Rolling over.

 Smiling through his bink.

On Saturday we headed north up to Mt. Charleston to get the dogs out of the house. The ran and played and we all had a great time. The little man was all bundled up and ready to play in the snow.

 Buster

Buster is obssessed with playing fetch - he doesn't bring normal sticks, he likes to bring back entire trees for you to throw. Once he has you roped into throwing a stick for him, he won't stop until you do.

Please, please, please!

My happy camper.

Buster running up a mountain to get his stick.

Snickers noticed another family coming up with their dog, he automatically got on the defensive. He's our little guard dog. Once they got close enough, he had to check him out - once he decided the other dog was okay, they became buddies.

Protective little Snickers.

The beautiful view.

My wonderful family.

It started getting quite windy, so we packed our things and headed back down the mountain. Once we got home, my brother Michael came by. He's getting better with Cooper every day - I'm so proud of him!

Curious of the camera.

He's beginning to push himself up from laying on his belly with his legs - he hasn't quite gotten the balance part down yet though. When he gets on his knees he pushes himself backwards, he'll be on the move in no time.

Trying to figure out how to stand.

Sunday morning we headed out to the Boulder City corrals again. I like to get Cooper and the dogs out of the house as much as possible - we all enjoy the outdoors - especially when the weather is 70 degrees and sunny!

Hangin' with his dad.

Watching his daddy rope!

Cooper and Me

After our exciting morning, we headed home to get ready for the Super Bowl. Once the salsa and guacamole were made, we headed over to Kyle and Lindsay's to watch the big game. We had a great time and Cooper got to see his best friend, Wyatt!

This morning Cooper woke up in a GREAT mood - that gave me time to get his baby food made - apples, bananas, pears, and zucchini this week. He is finally settling into a nap schedule and sleeping for almost 2 hours at a time, too! It's a great time for me to relax - or clean - and he's always so happy when he wakes up.

 Playing in his jump-a-roo.

Drool monster.

Happy as can be!

What a week we've had - it sure has been wonderful, can't wait to see what this week will hold.
