A New Chapter

What an exciting time in our lives - our offer has been approved on THE house and now the fun begins - and to think I thought my life was hectic before! Today we get our home inspection done, so long as everything goes according to plan, we should close and be moving within the next few weeks. I can't even begin to explain how excited we are, our very first own home! Packing, packing, and more packing is the way to describe life in our house this week - I can't believe how much CRAP we've accumulated over the past few years!

Friday night Josh and I spent an early Valentine's Day together. My parents watched Cooper for the night so we went all out! We went to dinner at Texas de Brazil - Thanks Gab :) and had some drinks at The Cosmopolitan - what a beautiful hotel/casino. We had such a great time!

Cooper in his new rocker @ Grammy & Grampys.

Cooper's beginning to figure out how the world works - he cries and someone will come running to his aide. The other night, Josh and I were watching him play with his toys, low and behold, he started his fake cry - sounds just like "waaaaaaah" is spelled. He'd stop "crying" and look at us like "Why aren't you rushing over here??" and then begin to fake wail again... It was hilarious, we were laughing so hard even Cooper started  to laugh with us. He would giggle, then start to "cry" again. He is such a ham!

"Waaaaaaaaaah"

"Why aren't you rushing over here yet!?"

Play days at the Boulder City Corrals are by far my favorite of the month. They have a snack shack that serves the best cheeseburgers I've ever had - no joke! And this weekend, they had a special... the Turtle burger... oh my, it was delicious!

We spent the morning at roping practice, the weather was so wonderful, 67 and sunny, I have the pink shoulders today to prove it!

 Cooper the Pooper.

 Buster doing his thing...

 Snickers relaxing in the sun.

Buster going head to head with a steer.

Cooper being nosey - he has to touch everything!

Grampy & Cooper watching the cows.

 Josh roping.

Daddy bringing Cooper for a ride.

Once practice was over, the kids took over the arena for play day. Karson sat on the sidelines - he wasn't feeling so well, while Baylee participated. We all dined on burgers while the kids competed.

 Karson relaxing.

Josh & Cooper watching the kids.

Uncle Scottie taking Cooper for a ride.

Karson and I hangin' on the fence - I would steal him if I could!

Cooper & Uncle Sean

Going for a ride on Crystal.

 Hold on tight!

 Cooper & Grammy

After eating his lunch, Cooper was exhausted! He napped for quite a while in the shade with his Grammy - rarely does he sleep when there is that much action going on around him!

Taking a nap in Grammy's arms.

 Precious sleeping baby.

Once he woke up, he drank some juice and spent the rest of the afternoon playing with Karson - he makes him laugh, it's so adorable!

 Mastering his sippy cup.

 Karson tickling Cooper.

Teaching him to give high fives!

Now off to finish packing...

Congrats on your new house! That is so exciting! Hopefully one day that will be us, but for now it will be paying off student loans. Cooper is so sweet. Hope to see you guys soon.
