We were lucky enough to spend Christmas at our house this year, so Christmas Eve, Cooper & I baked Santa some blue alligator cookies. After filling his plate & glass, we put it by the tree and Coop got to open one gift before heading to bed.
Christmas morning we opened our gifts from Santa before the rest of the family came by. We all were very lucky this year, but me especially - I got to spend the morning with the people I love most.
After opening our gifts, my parents, brother, & in-laws came over and we prepared dinner. We had appetizers while waiting for our food to finish, & opened more gifts. I got a VitaMix from my in-laws and am SO excited to have one - I guess you know you've grown up when you get an appliance and it's your favorite gift, over a desk, a day at the M Spa & Justin Timberlake tickets, although they come in a VERY close second!
We finally sat down for dinner, a deep fried prime rib, and lots go yummy sides, and it was as delicious as ever.
As the day came to a close, we relaxed around the tree and enjoyed each others company. Josh had to head back to work early the next morning, so we had an early bedtime too.
