For the 4th of July this year, as always, we made our way out to Boulder City for The Damboree, their annual Independence Day parade. While waiting for the festivities to begin, the kids created their own fun with silly string, and it sure made a mess!
After baking in the hot morning sun, we cooled off at my parents pool, before BBQing at the Paul's. The kids wore Cooper out, but not enough to forego cake & fireworks. We picked some up from the local gas station parking lot and lit up the street when we got home. This was the first time Cooper got to enjoy fireworks with my grandparents. It's always so nice having them in town, we sure miss them!
