Over the past month we've had so much going on - I feel like I've been running around with my head cut off. Cooper is growing like a weed and learning new, fun things every single day. He's finally grown out of his old boots so we broke out his new pair from Christmas, even though they're still a little big, he refuses to take them off.
Our little cowboy.
Since February Cooper has taken interest in using the potty. He now goes several times a day and runs around the house in his undies. I'm so proud of how quickly he picks up new things.
Undie boy!
On March 29th Coop and I drove up to St. George to surprise Sarah on her 18th birthday. After opening her gifts, we took the short drive out to Hurricane to watch both Sarah and Dave skydive.

After an adrenaline filled afternoon, we calmed ourselves down at Samurai 21 for Sarah's birthday dinner.

To keep the kids occupied while we painted the house, we set them up in the kitchen with paint of their own.

What we woke up to Sunday morning.
We made the short drive back home on Sunday afternoon to make sure everything was ready for Josh's return home on Monday evening. Wednesday we took a trip to Town Square to walk around and enjoy the beautiful warm weather.

We spent our evening in the Madrid's backyard watching the kids run wild.

We took a trip one afternoon to the park to let Cooper enjoy the swings and burn some energy.

We spent Friday evening eating and coloring Easter eggs at Grammy & Grampy's house. It was Coop's first time and he absolutely LOVED it!
Stirring his egg.

After stuffing ourselves full, we met the Busch crew once again to go spot lighting coyotes in the desert. We drove for an hour or so without any luck, until finding the perfect place to start a camp fire and roast some marshmallows.

We walked straight into a trap without even knowing it - the splash pad was in season and the kids insisted on soaking themselves.
After our walk back and getting the kids into dry clothes, the Easter bunny finally made his delivery of eggs. Cooper thoroughly enjoyed his first Easter egg hunt!
The following Monday we drove out to a lake about a half an hour from the house to bring the kids for a boat ride and fishing.

We spent the rest of our trip relaxing while the big boys did some more fishing.

We drove home on Wednesday so we would have some alone time together before Josh left again for work on Friday morning. It's always so hard to say goodbye, especially now that Cooper is so aware that Daddy is leaving again. I'm hoping the shorter schedule will make it easier on all of us.
They're always going to be best friends.
Friday evening Cooper and I drove back to St. George to spend the night before taking the drive to Provo on Saturday. Jacob was turning one and we wouldn't miss it for the world!
During our drive.
Some of my favorite people!

Mmmm cake!
Somehow he ended up in only a diaper... only Josh's child.
When we arrived home on Sunday afternoon, we had some special visitors waiting for us. Josh's grandparents, John and Shirley, stayed with us for a week and it was wonderful! I'm so glad they got to spend that special time with Cooper and help me out while I was miserably sick.
Wearing Great Papa's shoes.
After John and Shirley left, Cooper and I have been spending a lot of time with my parents - They're probably getting sick of us by now!
Helping Grampy reload.
For Cooper there is no better suit than his birthday suit. He absolutely loves to run around naked and tries undressing himself all the time!
Enjoying Mom's smoothie... naked.
Pretending to drive like Grammy... "vroooooom"
With our second anniversary coming up in a few months, Josh told me to start looking for my dream wedding ring and band, and I found it a whole lot sooner than expected. My husband spoils me. Josh has to wait until our actual anniversary to get his present ;) Muahahaha!
My beautiful new ring :)
One of my good friends, Kasey, had a going away party and luckily Cooper had a pal, Sean, to keep him entertained. They both ended up naked swimming in the pool by the end of the night, we've got a couple party animals on our hands!
Sean & Cooper testing out the water.
Getting more comfortable with the water.
The following Tuesday I had my first prenatal check up for Baby Craig #2 and we couldn't be more excited! I got to see their heartbeat for the first time and I'll admit it, I sure teared up. Now to find out the sex so I can start planning... Wooooo!
C. L. C.
Cooper has officially started the stage of copying everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that I do. He even takes it so far as helping me clean, so I can't entirely complain.
Sweeping out his boat.
Smiling for Auntie Gabby & Auntie Ansh.
We spent an evening with my brother - He made us dinner and even provided us with entertainment on the basketball court. Cooper loves his "Ma Mike".
Michael & Cooper
Enjoying his pop & watching Uncle Mike play basketball.
The weekend before last, Cooper and I joined the girls of the Busch crew at Gilcrease Orchards to pick some fresh fruits and veggies. We got peaches, nectarines, asparagus, and carrots - They were all delicious!
Down the street from the orchard is another fun spot called "The Farm". We took a quick detour to visit the animals before grabbing a bite to eat at Pit Stop, my favorite!
Cooper trying to pet the goat.
Before leaving Boulder City, we stopped at the corrals to feed the steers - One of Cooper's favorite pastimes. While down there we ran into Sean who brought us for a ride in the desert, he even let Cooper drive a while.

The following Sunday, along with my parents, Coop and I drove out to Gunlock, UT and visited with Aunt Rara and Uncle Ham.

As previously mentioned, Coop is getting so good at using his potty chair. He now loves to read and eat on the potty too!
Like Father, like son.
The more kids that are around, the happier Cooper is. His very favorite person is Peyton, or Peypen as he calls her - He is in LOVE with her!

On Friday we spent the evening at The McKee Ranch for Aubrey's 3rd birthday party. Cooper was exhausted by the time we left.

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo first at Nancy's BBQ with swimming, yummy food, and good company. Before we headed home, we took another trip out to Boulder City to the Madrid's to celebrate Mike's birthday. Cooper chowed down on fruit all night while the rest of us enjoyed the beautiful evening weather.
Mike's awesome cake!
Yesterday we spent the afternoon swimming at my parents house, keeping cool in the pool from the summer heat.
Enjoying the water.
