On a whim, my Mom and I decided to take a trip to Santa Monica, CA this past weekend. After packing Cooper up in the car, we hit the road to enjoy the beautiful beach weather. We stayed in the cutest hotel half a block from the water. Saturday afternoon we took the short walk from our room to hit the beach in the warm sunshine. It was Cooper's first time to the ocean, so I made sure to capture every moment.

After spending all afternoon by the water, we cleaned up in our hotel room and took a walk to the pier for dinner at Bubba Gumps.

We spent the entire evening on the pier before walking back to our room and crashing out! We woke up to rain the next morning and took the short walk to Cora's Coffee House for an amazing breakfast.

After devouring our food, we took the short drive to Ikea where we spent several hours before heading back to Vegas. It was such a wonderful and relaxing weekend with a couple of my absolute favorite people. Now to quickly pass one more week until Josh comes back home :)
