Fourth of July Weekend

Once again I must begin with how busy we've been - Oh my! We've made quite a few trips to the Black Mountain Water park as of late, it gets us out of the house and Cooper loves the water and sunshine.

We started our long weekend off with a Friday night out in Boulder City at the corrals. Baylee and Karson are so good with Cooper, it's so sweet!

Saturday we headed out to Boulder City once again to spend the afternoon at the water fountains at Veterans Memorial Park with the Furley's.

On Sunday after a day filled with sun and swimming, we got a torrential downpour in Vegas, believe it or not, and it was accompanied by an absolutely amazing thunder and lightening storm - I was in heaven. Josh and I sat on our back patio and watched it come down, and eventually flood our grass!

We woke up early Monday morning and once again headed out to Boulder City for their 4th of July Damboree Parade. Despite being woken up to get there on time, Cooper did amazingly well all day!

Unfortunately the parade came to a complete halt - a young kid decided to run into the middle of the parade path and got hit by one of the jeeps participating in the event, as far as we know he is alright. Around the same time, it started to sprinkle once again so we packed up the kid and grabbed a bite to eat before heading to Kyle & Lindsay's to chill before lighting off fireworks.
