Cooper has mastered so many skills in the last week. He's walking everywhere now, no more crawling for this baby - And now that he's learned how to stand on his own with no support, he's even more nonstop than he was! Of course he still loves the water and enjoys every minute he's in the pool.
Swimmin'
Learning how to kick.
Anything that makes lots of loud noise is his best friend. He likes to bang toys together and against the walls and furniture and finds it hysterical. At my parents house the pots and spoons are his favorite.
My future drummer.
Cooper has such a wide variety of food now, pretty much anything I make, he eats - It's wonderful, no more making baby food for this Momma!
Loving his raspberries!
He loves to open and close doors - he'll sit at our bedroom door for hours opening and closing, until he closes it completely since he's still too short to reach the knob.
Opening...
And closing.
Quite a few times I've found him waddling around like this... with a puzzle piece in his mouth.
What a dork!
This past weekend we made our annual family trip up to Big Bear, CA with my parents and brother to get out of the heat. We rented a cabin and made the drive Friday afternoon.
Our Cabin in the woods.
"Whatchu talkin' bout Momma?"
After a good nights sleep, Cooper woke up and was rearing to go. We made breakfast and spent the morning enjoying the cool 70 degree weather in the backyard.
"More, more Uncle Mike!"
Buster playing with a pine cone.
Playing with the old stove.
Relaxing...
While the boy was down for his morning nap, Josh and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm always amazed by the size of the trees up there, they tower over everything!
Giant Pine.
Our view up the street.
Once the baby was up, we packed the coolers full and headed out to an old fire road to enjoy the sights.
Driving along the dirt road.
The Munchkin.
Along the drive there were so many awesome things to see, I couldn't tell ya how many times we had to stop to take pictures... cough cough, MOM ;) A ton of flowers were in bloom, I have no idea what they were but they were beautiful!
Along for the ride & loving every minute of it.
My beautiful Momma
My wonderful brother, Michael ;)
Me & My Amazing Husband
Should've named him Goofy!
During our last stop, we popped Cooper out of his car seat and set him on Josh's lap for the remainder of the drive, the kid couldn't have been more excited!
My happy boy :)
After the drive was over, we stopped at the lake for some fishing and a picnic.

Cooper LOVED the fish.
The giggling baby.
The next morning while we packed the truck back up, Grampy and Cooper strolled around the front yard checking out all the Mountain Blue Jays flying around.
Grampy & Cooper
Can you spot him?
Before heading down the mountain, we made one last stop, I HAD to go bobsledding - It's called "The Alpine Slide." Josh and Mom joined me in the fun.
Waiting to get on the lift.
Going on up!
Waiting our turn.
Me at the end.
Josh at the bottom, doesn't he look so excited?
Mom coming to a stop.
Mom and I gave it another go while the boys waited on the sidelines.
Waiting for our lift.
Zooming down the hill!
On our way back to the trucks, I spotted a cotton candy machine and just had to get some, surprisingly Cooper didn't like it one bit!
With our cotton candy.
We took another fire road on the opposite side of the lake before heading home.
Remains of a forest fire.
"Mom, Uncle Mike is crazy!"
Every time we stopped, Cooper would yell at me to keep going, he's so impatient... wonder where he gets that from??
"Keep driving!!"
The view of the lake.
My Smiling Pup.
The Little Daredevil.
Doing what I love.
Going down an old dirt road.
We had such a wonderful time and definitely didn't want to drive back to the 100+ degree heat, but work was calling... Ugh! Can't wait for next year ;)
