Billy & Robin Visit Vegas

Let me start off by saying... Oh my, this kid is into everything! I got into the shower the other day and found this when I got out... He found the only cabinet in the bathroom that hasn't been baby proofed - luckily it's also the only empty cabinet in our house. He's also learned how to give "high fives" and finds it absolutely hilarious - now we're working on waving "hi" and "bye", we'll see how long this takes...

Thursday night Aunt Sandy came into town from Detroit, MI for the weekend. So on Friday Cooper and I spent most of our time around my parents house. He took his first swim in a real swimming pool. Finally the weather has been warm enough to take a dip. Although the water is cooler than at bath time, he still loved it.

Friday evening Josh's parents, Robin and Billy, finally arrived after their 12 hour drive down from Idaho. Although exhausted, Robin still joined in during our bath time routine.

This is his favorite!

On Saturday morning, my Mom and I went to a photography class to try to better understand all our cameras have to offer. I learned a lot - I would totally recommend it to any fellow dSLR users! Our instructor sent us out with a list of certain requirements our pictures were to contain. I'm happy to report that following pictures were taken on my manual setting!

Rule of "Thirds"

And I just liked this one...

After our class was over, we headed back to my house for our BBQ that afternoon. I had alot to get ready for the packed house we were about to have.

My Favorite Boys!

Cooper & Grandma J

Cooper still has an obsession with this darn bucket - He splashes in it, walks around it, and tips it over on himself.

Playing with his bucket.

All from splashing!

Grandma J, Cooper, & Josh

I am so relieved how well our dogs have accepted Cooper into the family - I do have to say we were a little nervous at first, but they've welcomed him with open arms, or paws I should say! ;)

Snickers sharing with Cooper.

After several attempts, we finally got a decent picture together - my rotten husband finds it hilarious to make funny faces rather than smile.

Josh & Me

Shawn and Amanda came by for the BBQ with Seth and Aubrey, of course Cooper enjoyed their company.

The kids playing.

Aubrey is a sassy little one to say the least - we had a little laugh on her behalf while she was in time out. Just look at that stance, can you say attitude? She cracks me up!

Tinker Dawn

Aubrey ended this hug prematurely with "Ewe Mom, Coopoh is dripping!" He slobbered all over her!

Sunday Cooper decided to be a little pill - it was his way or the highway. Robin came up with the perfect caption for this particular picture... "Waaaahh... I don't have enough toys!"

See above.

Sunday we all went to my parents house for another BBQ, only this time a swimming pool was involved.

Our dogs LOVE the pool and as soon as they're given permission, they'll jump right in. Buster will swim laps and dive in after his rope, while Snickers just hangs out on the steps and barks at Buster.

Buster swimmin'...

And going after his rope.

There's nothing this baby loves more than being naked. He loves to get striped down to his birthday suit and cruise.

Just hangin'.

 Mr. Cool

He's such a happy little thing.

Monday morning Billy and Robin had to head back home, we had a great time and can't wait to see them both again! After they left, Cooper and I started the "Parent & Me" swim lessons with Henderson Parks & Rec - he was more interested in watching all of the other kids learn to swim than learning to swim himself.

Waiting to start our lessons.

After swimming was over, we spent the rest of the afternoon with my parents and Aunt Sandy.

Now that Cooper is no longer getting Mommy Milk, unfortunately he weaned himself sooner than expected, I have to make sure he gets his dairy from other sources since he's not allowed cow milk until a year. He gets Yobaby Yogurt every morning for breakfast along with his fruit, which he loves, but he also gets cheese as a snack throughout the day, which is his absolute FAVORITE!

More cheese please!

We've got lots to do this week, so until next time... :)
