Before the boys left for their fishing trip the whole family gathered together for Shay's graduation. We skipped the ceremony and hungout around Grandma & Papa's til the kids woke up from their naps.

Sweet little girl!
Coopers diet has drastically changed - he's been eating chicken and beef for quite some time, but now he doesn't want baby food at ALL anymore. His favorite is chicken and dumplings! He refuses to eat unless he's eating what we're eating, but when he does choose to eat, it's hard to miss this target...
Scarfing!
Once they woke up we headed to Lisa's house for the after party - we hungout in the basement (oh how I wish we had basements out here!) and started a friendly competition of fooseball - Brett kicked all of us to the curb!

Uncle Brian & Coop
Anna is used to being the only baby around, so when Cooper showed up she was a little jealous until she realized she could boss him around! She would sit on the floor, pat her knees, and say "Coop sit on lap, sit on lap!" until we would put him there, it was adorable!

Me & Brett
While the boys were out of town, us girls kept ourselves busy relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather! On Monday, Grandma, Mom, and I drove Aunt Jean and the girls back to their house in Morrison, IL - It's a cute little town on the border of Illinois and Iowa.
On the way to lunch...
It amazes me when I see beautiful flowers growing wild on the side of the road - we never see anything like that at home so I always have to snap a few pictures!
Lilacs... oh they smell so good!
Some type of a "bell" flower.
Tulips!
After eating lunch, we went for a walk around their beautiful little town - there are MAYBE 2000 people and most of the houses are old Victorians built pre-1900's. These are a few of my favorites... and my mom being the sweet talker that she is got us a tour of the purple one ;)
Such amazing detail!
Fully restored to original 1890's condition!
Both of the girls are so photogenic and LOVED getting their pictures taken - they would pose and say... "Take a picture, take a picture!!" - So I did.

Me & My Bud
Anna insisted on having a binkie (although she's NEVER used one) while Cooper was around. She'd always say "Well where's MY binkie??" So we gave her an extra one...

Once we headed back to Joliet, I had some family to visit with. My Dads mom, Grandma Gall, lives 5 minutes away from my Mom's parents so Cooper and I headed over to spend some time and visit with his other Great Grandma!

The next few days were filled with lots and lots of family - such a wonderful thing to have, I would LOVE to live closer to all of them!

Leaning on Grammy to grab the grass.
Cooper is so easily amused, all I need to give him is a laundry basket and a wooden spoon and he'll keep himself busy for hours! He's learned how to point to objects that he wants, he's beginning to sign back to me, and he loves clapping - pat-a-cake is his favorite! He's always at his happiest when he's naked and walking around. He's now saying "Da...dadada..." - I'm beginning to think he's catching on, especially because now he's such a daddy's boy!

Me & Munchkin
On Friday we had a BBQ at my Aunt Debb & Uncle Jim's house - since my Dad is one of ten, I have a butt load of Aunts, Uncles, & cousins! Aunt Laura came by with her two boys, Richie and Matt - It was so great to catch up and visit with all of them!

Friday night we had to catch up on our sleep to be well rested for the annual fish fry on Saturday!
