Since we never really know when Josh is going to be home, we scheduled Caedyn's birthday party a week before the actual date so we knew Daddy would be home to enjoy it with us. November 16th rolled around and it was time to put all the party preparation into play. The weather was a bit chilly, but nothing long sleeves or a light jacket couldn't handle. We BBQ'd while the kids ran wild. Thankfully my mom and Angela grabbed the camera and snapped pictures, otherwise it would've been a mom fail on my part.
After everyone had their fill of burgers & dogs, it was time for cake! Caedyn got her own special little cake made by Grammy and iced by Uncle Michael - she devoured it while everyone else pigged on cupcakes.
After dessert, it was piñata time. I packed it full so it didn't take long to fall & there was plenty of candy to go around.
We had a great turn out - lots of friends, family, and babies! Once the sun went down, we packed up and headed home to open all of Caedyn's gifts - what a lucky girl, she got tons of beautiful things. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our princess turning one - We love and appreciate all of you! Here's to another year of watching her learn and grow. :)
