The Happiest Place on Earth!

At the beginning of the year, my mom and I participated in the Disney "Give a Day, Get a Day" program and received 2 free Disney park passes. Since I was pregnant most of the year, we decided to wait until Cooper was born before we took the trip. So Thursday, we hit the road, and headed to Anaheim. We woke up early Friday morning and set off to the park. The weather was absolutely beautiful, 75 degrees in the middle of December, who woulda thought!? We got to Disney, parked, and as soon as we walked in, the marching band was playing at the entrance.

The marching band playing Christmas tunes.

The first gift shop we spotted pulled us in like a fish on a hook and Cooper got his "First Christmas Hat"

Cooper wearing that hat.

Mary Poppins and Bert were hanging around the Theater, so we snapped a few pictures with them, while they admired how beautiful Cooper was.

Bert, me, Mom & Cooper, and Mary - my all time favorite!

The park was all decorated for Christmas, tree and all. Even the wreaths were shaped like Mickey!

A look down Main Street.

The beautiful castle.

Our first ride was the Jungle Cruise - Cooper LOVED it, there was so much for him to look at!

Next on our ride stops was the Haunted Mansion. It was decorated like "Nightmare Before Christmas" - SO AWESOME!!

The lines were long, but moved quite fast. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes for any ride!

Of course we got a turkey leg, they are absolutely delicious.

Next on our ride list was Pirates of the Caribbean - Our favorite!

We stopped for a break by the Harbour...

Then we hopped on the Mark Twain River Boats and headed to Tom Sawyer Island.

On the "river boat"

On the island there were so many cool things to explore...

And I quote "Well he can't be perfect ALL the time!"

Enjoying his Baby Bjorn.

After exploring Frontierland, we headed to Critter Country.

Mickey Mouse!

Since it is close to Christmas, Disney's parade turns into "A Christmas Fantasy" parade. It was absolutely beautiful. It's A Small World was all lit up for the big show.

Hanging out, waiting for the parade to start.

Once the parade ended, we hopped on the train and headed to New Orleans Square to check out their ornament shop...

The beautifully decorated steps inside the ornament shop.

As we were headed to Main Street USA, they lit up the castle - never have I seen such a beautiful sight!

One last shot before we headed out - 12 hours later - we had to get a picture in front of Main Street Station.

Me & my best friend :)

What a great day, we didn't want it to end. Now, we can't wait to go back!!
