Idaho City

Today is our last night in Idaho. We spent the day with Robin and Billy in Idaho City, the original capitol of Idaho, founded in 1862. It was about an hour drive, but totally worth it! It sprinkled while driving up the winding road, but seemed to clear up as soon as we got out of the car. First we walked up to the church on the hill...

The view from the front of the church.

After checking out the church, we went to the downtown Historic District. It still has original boardwalk sidewalks and brick and wood buildings, so awesome!!

My hubby and I.

Throughout downtown, they had little "park areas" where we had to stop to snap some more pictures ;)

My family.

After weathering the cool mountain air, we stopped at Trudy's to eat lunch. Little man behaved so well, as always.

The sweet boy.

We're not quite ready to go back home, there is still so much for us to explore, but Josh has to get back to work :( Hopefully we'll be able to make it back up soon!!

I loved having you here - it was just too short of a time to do all there is to do. I'm glad you had fun - we miss you. Give Cooper a hug and kiss from mama J.
Love you guys
